Do you understand your own investments? Do you want to?
How did you put together your investment portfolio? Do you have a strategy? Did you buy last year’s best performing mutual fund? Or did you get a hot tip from your brother-in-law? How has it been working out? If you are completely satisfied, keep doing what has been working.
For over twenty years we have talked with tens of thousands of people about their investments. Most of them bought a mutual fund at one time or another, and have never stopped to consider if it still fit into their overall investment plan.
Our team includes a CFP® designee who was a college professor. The blend of decades of experience working with clients and with years of classroom teaching combine to provide explanations you can understand. We promise, no complicated financial jargon will be spoken here.
We are completely independent. We do not represent any investment company or strategy; we represent you – our client. We have all the tools conceivable at our disposal; mutual funds*, ETF’s* (exchange traded funds), stocks, bonds, notes, CD’s (certificate of deposit), real estate, limited partnerships, private equity** and debt. We will take the time to listen to your needs, evaluate your risk threshold, and develop an investment plan for you. Once you have approved your plan, we can build and maintain your portfolio for you. Through our online system you can log in and see your investments anytime. We will meet with you periodically and can provide you with performance reports along the way.
Our goal is to make your experience as comfortable as possible by explaining your money and our recommendations in common terms while providing excellent customer service.
* Mutual Funds and Exchange Traded Funds (ETF’s) are sold by prospectus. Please consider the investment objectives, risks, charges, and expenses carefully before investing. The prospectus, which contains this and other information, about the investment company, can be obtained from the Fund Company or your financial professional. Be sure to read the prospectus carefully before deciding whether to invest.
** Investing in alternative assets involves higher risks than traditional investments and is suitable only for sophisticated investors. Alternative investments are often sold by prospectus that discloses all risks, fees, and expenses. They are not tax efficient and an investor should consult with his/her tax advisor prior to investing. Alternative investments may have higher fees than traditional investments and they may also be highly leveraged and engage in speculative investment techniques, which can magnify the potential for investment loss or gain and should be deemed a complete investment program. The value of the investment may fall as well as rise and investors may get back less than they invested.
